To say that it was cold was an understatement, but that didn’t stop Yr 5 from Court Farm Primaryand Yr 7 from PB Academy planting 750 whips in just about an hour! Perhaps the cold made them work faster?
Working alongside them were teaching staff, Councillor Alden and a representative of one of our sponsors. BTFL have planted at Bleak hill several times over the last 10+ years and it was good to see that much of the planting was maturing well. You can see how hard they all worked in our album link.
The pupils from PB Academy have planted with us earlier in the season so were very capable of ‘getting on’ with the job to be done. Court Farm Primary have also worked at Bleak Hill before but several years ago so it was good to welcome them again.
